F-1 and J-1 STUDENTS
The Office of International Programs at the University of Texas at El Paso/UTEP will generate your I-20 or DS-2019 immigration documents according to the visa status request submitted by an applicant:
- I-20 documents are given to applicants planning to attend UTEP as fully matriculated F-1 students in a degree or certificate program
- I-20 documents are given to applicants planning to attend UTEP to participate in the English Language Institute
- DS-2019 documents applicants seeking to attend UTEP as fully matriculate J-1 students, in a degree program.
- DS-2019 documents applicants seeking to attend UTEP to participate in a non-degree student exchange program. These programs require a memorandum of agreement between UTEP and an international college or university.
